Chemical Formulation
- 1 Caustic Soda (NAOH) .........................2kg
- 2 Soda Ash (NaC03) .......................... 6 kg
- 3 Hydrogen Peroxide (H202) .................... 4 milk cups (628 ML)
- 4 Industrial Salt ..................................2table spoon full
- 5. Palm Kernel oil(P.K.O) ..........................12 Lucozade bottles (720 cl)
- 6. Good Foaming Agent ...........................2 Lucozade bottles (120 cl)
- 7 Ammonium or Amonic Acid (NH4). . ...4 table spoon full
- 8 Oil Soluble Colorant (blue)................:..To taste
- 9. Perfume ...... Totaste
- 10. Water ..................................12Lucozade bottles (720 cl)
Method of preparation:
- Dissolve 2kg NaOH in a plastic bowl or bucket with 6 lucozade bottles of water and 6 kg soda ash in a separate bucket with 6 lucozade bottle of water, stir both properly.
- Then mix the NaOH and NaCO, solution in 1 above together and allow ’fermenting for 24 hours.
- Pour the P.K.O in a bowl add into it; the measured industrial salt, foaming agent, hydrogen peroxide and colourant and stir properly.
- Add the solution in the sample 2 above into the P.K.O mixture in 3, stir properly for evenly homogenization, when you observe that the whole mixtures are becoming watering stop stirring.
- Use a carpet, sack bag etc, outside to wiled spread the mixture for sun drying. When dried, use a sieve to pellet it into powdery form, sprinkle nice fragrance on it and package for sale.
Please note: All the provide measure in the whole table of the formulations are subjected to multiplication or division by a constant factor when you want to produce in a large-or lower quantities respectively, but insure to use the factor in measuring all the chemicals provided.
